Eupen is part of Qatar's aspire academy so it makes sense that he would go there.

I'm not going to deny he's more talented than most Qatari's but he hasn't shown anything beyond Asia level yet.

I am surprised Hassan Al Haydos or Abdelkarim Hassan never went for a trial anywhere. I think they're pretty talented too for Asian standards.

I watched Akram twice in the stadium last season when eupen was already in Belgiums top division and both times he was their best player. Very fast, technical and good build up play. Definately has what it takes to play in europe.

              Classy comment from Ferreira:

“We wasted many chances at home and also at the Azadi and we weren’t able to score more than one goal. But I must admit, it’s great to play in Iran. As coaches and players, we love it because this is the proper atmosphere of football.

i looked at AT LEAST 6 YouTube uploads of the highlights of this game from Arabs. NONE OF THEM included the superb save by BEIRAVAND from XAVI in the dying minutes.
and you wanna hear something even worse ?? The upload on the AFC HUB YouTUbe channel does not include that as a highlight either !!!!!!!!

BOTH of them include a shot by MENSHA in the 2nd half that was at least 15 meters wide of the goal tho !!!!!

They don't want any Iranian team to succeed. Or even LOOK GOOD. So glad they won and made it to the big final

Haydos impreses me every time I watch him. One of the best players from a persian gulf country I’ve ever seen IMO
                  Team Meli Iran
                  Perspolis FC
                  Malavan Bandar Anzali

Haydos and Afif are very good technically and very quick too. However, physically they can be bullied out of the game too easily vs better opposition.

But if qatar just started the likes of afif and al haydos on the wings supporting a physical african/qatari striker then they would probably with that alone be decent for asian standards. That is what they are transitioning to now, but they really wasted years with soria and co.

Hell yeah. Imagine women were also allowed to Exeter the stadiums. Economical conditions were not as depressive. Our football management conducted its duties professionally. Stadium conditions were on par with the rest of the world. We could afford buying high caliber foreign players. Transportation system to the stadiums was decent and reliable. We could host high quality opponents in Iran etc.
