The FACT is that USA plays stronger teams and wins those matches. This is not a qualitative ranking, it's quantitative. The day Iran plays stronger teams and winds Iran will be higher as well!

I always check ELO ratings as well, it's no secret that FIFA covet the ELO formula and gradually are shifting over to that.

They use ELO in chess and certain other areas too
