i want to say something brutal honest. I dont think Pp can win the title
kashima will score a goal in azadi, pp defense is not the best. we have to score and not concide. we have players who just want to argue and fight players like shoja, nemayti got send off tonight also. our players cant keep cool during the game and pp has major problems. every one say azadi is geat for pp, however it can be a double edge sword. if kashima god forbid score first then pp has to score 4 goals, which would be game over. if kashima go up 1-0, i dont see pp having the confidence to score 4 and 100,000 in azadi wont help them also. hence we have to score early or half time be up 1-0. we need to be calculative, score and not let in a goal.we concide and is over for pp

As though watching the stupid game by PP wasnt enough of torture listining to that khiabani was something else. He thinks is a reporting a war or something.. too much bullshit for a simple reporting.

The most brutal honest comment is.. Now everyone can see why CQ only invites ONE player from Perspolis ... They all suck..

Outside the scope of technical and tactical analysis and jurney’s circumstances including fatigue, What we witnessed in terms of indiscipline, constant confrontations with the referee (however poor and unfair) is a common feature in all Iran league games. You can’t go by one game that there’s none of that also compounded by managers arguing with the referees.
Most of this may not be related to the referees standard, it can be due to a frustration of people and players living in a society full of shortcomings and conflicts - of course players who also do not see their wages fully paid are all human and they bring their frustrations to the game with them.

What was ironic is that given all that, Branko should have had enough intelligence and experience to send the team in with a different set of mindset, tactics and composure. Even in domestic league, PP plays a more on-the ground passing game, this Was not an Iran league game, yet the style played by PP was!! Disappointing

that i agree, i saw alipour, cant score one on one, defense is out, seyed jalal is good but he is old and we have better players than him honestly speaking. not one player is good for pp, so why must CQ invite them beside beiranvand.

Bad game for PP, but let's have some respect for them for even getting this far. No wonder Azmoun retired for a few months lol....

They need to score early in Azadi and they're right back in it.

I actually thought PP played very well in first half and were the better team. I knew responses on here would be the typical melodramatic ones so I wanted to wait before posting.

Brankos defensive tactics were on point and the quick combos in the offensive third got them in really dangerous positions multiple times. Im not sure how PP didnt get a clear peantly in the first minute, the ref was a disaster all night. The free kick that led to their second goal wasnt a foul.

Khalilzadeh was actually excellent. A great performance by him marshalling suzuki excellently throughout. I was really impressed with him. Kept his cool in multiple altercations as well.

But this basically came down to PP not being clinical enough, and then two brain dead plays by ansari and mosleh. The first goal was a nice goal but ansari was running around like a headless chicken leaving his man open. The second mosleh randomly abandoned the left side leaving serginho wide open.

I actually think PP can score two on this team in azadi, I just dont think they can keep a clean sheet. The scoreline was in no way a fair reflection of what transpired in the 90 mins.

Fighting and arguing with referee should have a financial repercussion for our players both inside of Iran and games played outside so that players pay for their temper. More than five minutes was lost for Iranians arguing with referee. Also, in my view, he was not good.
Japanese played rough, one of the few times, I have watched Japanese play rough.

Part of fun is to enjoy the game not watch a fighting and arguing match. Iranian fans should demand players to focus on the game and do their best.

Branko should have changed players with one yellow card, especially those who were tired. He was clueless, it seems to me.

We should learn and get ready for future games. The end result is the score line.

With all the crappy play today we saw from PP ONE THING I can assure all of you is that Kashima Antlers in Azadi will be crapping in their pants in front of 100,000 rabid men in the hot Azadi couldron! I can assure all of you PP will score 2-3 goals and we will win! For Kashima an away game is a totally different beast and they know it. God help them ! But PP will emerge victorious!

It’ll be a different game in Azadi. So upset at the second goal that really pushed us back but we can do it

if PP score in first 20 mins in azadi, game is back on. If they fail to do this, they will send more and more people forward and kashima will catch them on the counter. Azadi will be something special tho, they need to make it hell for kashima players.

saw some highlights .... elements of luck on both goals conceded (especially the 2nd goal..!)
also looked same as the last fixture, PP were yet again clueless and in total disarray Offensively & failed to keep thier calm and composure which was pivotal in them attaining a more favorable away result..!
some positives were that their opponent didnt look all that formidable either as a team and im fairly sure they'll be shitting their pants at Azadi in the return match, PP just gotta organize a better offensive form and take advantage of the early jitters of their opponent and stick one in the first half..! the 2nd and even 3rd will come eventually, if they remain vigilant defensively and not concede any goals, cause that will be game set match...!!

                              ps
that Nemati loss will be huge....!(he was PPs best outfield player vs Al Sadd)....! finally saw the red card incident ....... that was a total bs straight Red card given for a very tame reaction to a player hugging him and dragging him to ground ...!! and why the fauq would they assign a Oriental looking ref for this match vs a japanese side..?? you know the prejudices will preside with these chinks regardless of their nationality..!!

^^i agree with you, but you have to remember that AFC is geared toward the J league and K league as these two countries provide the most advertisement revenue toward AFC. Having said that, PP needs to be more cautious in the game which they were not.
