From what I know, the ACL is regarded as a secondary competition in Japan.

I hate when people say this. Just look at how emotionally invested both the Korean and the Japanese clubs were in that semi-final, then tell me they don't care.
With regards to the usual group stage or even R16 games, I would say even PGL doesn't accommodate much for our teams. But for any team anywhere in the world, the two biggest achievements are always domestic league titles and continental titles.

In all fairness he is such a genuine and nice guy. Really feel bad for him.

Out of all Iranian football commentators he has the warmest tone and voice. I just wish he wouldn’t have been making some cheesy comments while commentating.

Ferdosipour has the worst tone for football commentating. Too much mid range and nasally frequency. He is a fantastic commentator though!

Japanese teams are weak on the counter (as demonstrated by the NT against Belgium at the World Cup), as long as PP takes advantage of the counters they are provided in this game we should be good.

Their defense is also trash, letting in 5 goals.
