Guys I've been an Atlanta United season ticket holder since the team's inception. Martinez is a good player but not as good as people here seem to think. The MLS is just very poor making him look better than he is. I mean a washed up Wayne Rooney that was piss poor for Everton joined DC United and in 18 games had scored 12 and assisted 6 as a midfielder. And 37 year old Zlatan joined the MLS mid season scoring 22 goals and assisting 6 in 24 matches.

Martínez is an average or slightly above average striker when it comes to top European football standards.

Nobody is saying hes god, but hes decent and we all can agree we want Team melli to play Venezuela's best players.

Agreed that martinez is decent but i dont think hes their best.

Rondon is a quality , powerful number 9.

Rincon is a very good midfield player in italy, played for juve a couple years back, now torino.

Cordova is a young player, was really good in u20 WC, now playing for Augburg, but not a lot of mins.

But imo, one player that really gave us problems last time was Yeferson Soltedo. Only 21 now, plays in Chile. He was very short but an excellent dribbler that we really struggled to contain. Overall this is a really good friendly.

Ashame that watfords penaranda has been injured all year, he is probably their most talented player and still so young.
