Guys, the tactic change is working. Were making a ton of chances and not giving many up, even with horrible defenders/backups on the pitch.
We need the forwards to be more clinical. Azmoun, Ghoddos, ARJ, Gholizadeh seem up for it. Not sure if Taremi and Ansarifard can be trusted and im sure CQ knows this. At least taremi is a beast in the press and physical confrontations so he gives that, ansarifard I struggle to see what he is offering atm and think he may be cut.
But overall the transformation is there to see. IF saeid and ebrahimi are at the base of the midfield protecting PAG,Majid, Moharrami, Milad, I see a very strong base both defensively and in possession, that will allow the attacking players to have even more freedom.
We have two more friendlies vs Qatar and China/Syria, then two more basically vs Vietnam and Yemen. Provided Saeid and PAG are fit and in form, I think we will be rearing to go when real competition starts vs Iraq.

The biggest disappointment of this game was the TV squad of the match. Khiabani was placed as the offensive player, well he sucked in that position, as his cheap shots failed miserably throughout the game and repeatedly. He was played out of his natural position (Benchwarmer) he should have been subbed out after the first half. The worst TV striker failure I have ever seen during a live coverage!
It's ok to make constructive criticism as a commentator, but to constantly making such bizarre attacks on CQ during a live commentating was so shallow and worthy of resentment by the public. Lost all respect I had for him!
CQ should immediately quit. Majority of the country has unfairly turned on him, attacking him left and right. Such unappreciative and forgetful nation we are. People trampling their national team and wishing for its failure in big tournaments only because of their favorite club agendas is so shameful...
