This is incredible.
You have a country like Turkey, with so much $ and infrastructure behind their football, with top players in top leagues in most positions and a very well payed foreign coach in lucescu, who are consistently failing in all matches. Nobody can figure out why, but people arent going for the head of the coach.
Now in IRan, we have the worst infrastructure, no $, and yet our coach is getting us real results, and yet, every mr gooz and golabi, with NO FOOTBALL RESUME, especially no resume that even is in the same stratosphere of queiroz has an opinion that he is over rated and over payed. We used to BARELY tie angola and lose 3-1 to mexico with the well behaved, amazing, top class, Branko, now we beat arguably the best team in Africa, and tie Portugal, and lose BARELY to spain and then these idiots, sorry "experts" have the audacity to say these results were all luck and CQ is overrated. Go kick rocks, morons.
Oceano was out of line but the animosity in this country towards CQ is pathetic. Should we go back to the good days of losing to Qatar and Bahrain?
These idiots who keep criticizing and criticizing and saying MINDLESS shert o pert on EVERY LEVEL, need to be exposed and outed. Seriously, what gave these morons the ideas that they can talk on this subject in a way that they are the all knowing people we need to put our football in charge of?
These people are not living in reality, saying things that dont even make sense in their fantasies.

Media blackout was the best move by CQ and tm players overall. I think the current posse of garbage that’s stirring all of this up will foreshadow some dark times that’ll come after CQ leaves post Asian cup. Especially if brangoh becomes coach, Persepolis played like absolute dog shit in so many departments I don’t even want to imagine what that’ll look like for TM.

I am REALLY surprised to see Mehradad Maasoudi now in the ranks of gossipers and anti-CQ Cartel.
This chap doesn't even live in Iran and on the surface has nothing to do with anything. But it appears that his sudden rise to the spotlight in the fight against CQ is not all that sudden and there is a lot more than meet the eye here. For those of you who don't know this Mehrdad Maasoudi. He used to work as a communication manager for the Canadian Soccer Association in the late 90s. He was behind brining the Iranian national team and PP to Canada for friendlies before WC98. In later years he secured a job at FIFA and moved to Switzerland. Not sure when he left FIFA, but he is currently working with the Qatari Football Federation as a senior advisor.
Now, apparently, this chap was at the stadium for PP vs Kashima AFC Championship return game in Tehran and sitting among the so called dignitaries and important people including CQ's coaching assistant staff.
After the game, in an interview he describes his confrontation with CQ's Assistant Oceano Da Cruz. He says, he saw Oceano expressing happiness at the conclusion of PP and Kashima game for the Japanese team. He asks why is he so happy. Oceano replies, he is happy for his fellow countryman and friend Zico who was with the Japanese team. Mehrdad points at the crowd and says, look these are the people who pay your salary, you have no right to cheer for the other side. Da Cruz leaves in disgust which makes Mr. Maasoudi who gets his salary from Qatari football club but cheers for Iranian teams all charged up with a subject to start another fake story and fuel the flame of the anti-CQ clowns.
My message to Mr. Maasoudi... Get a life buddy! you have become a Dallal.

Who was the reporter who got in a fight with TM? خبر نهاری که با مربی تیم ملی درگیر شد که بود؟ http://footballitarin.com/image_page...80rkm5rup7mbou
How cheap a reporter can really be?
I hope PP and its coach are not this cheap
Please share this on any social media channel you can so that everyone can see the dirty nature of some of the journalists and keep an eye for any news from the rest of Brangoh's lunch guests....

May be it is just me but I noticed the Azadi grass looking very different (perhaps uncut and full of water) for the match with T&T. The grass was back to it's normal look and condition for PP and Peykan game today. I wonder if that was done deliberately ... CQ complained about the grass condition but nobody really paid much attention.

It rained for several days straight and the field was used 6 times in 6 days. It gets stressed out in such a situation.
It got some rest and its been dry again in Tehran, that's why it looks better.
