Eh, actually it just means that there are more than 2 teams that should otherwise advance if they were place in a more average group. One could argue that Iran and Morocco would be favored to qualify if given a better group. It doesn't mean there are no clear favorites. If you have 4 garbage teams in a group, there are no clear favorites. That's not a group of death.
