Proposal for World Cup every 2 years

Dear god, they already are ruining the game by expanding to 48 nations , I won’t be surprised if this proposal becomes reality. Just watering down this tourney to not be as special as it is/was

It's a stupid idea almost verging on the hilarious. Why would you want to make this happen even more often with the obvious result in being that it becomes too common and nobody wants to watch it anymore. They're already ruining international tournaments everywhere by facilitating qualification to everyone and sundry. It's making it more exclusive and MORE difficult to qualify for that would make it more interesting, not the other way around.

The Copa America and Euros are a thing, and they are a good make-up for the wait. Also some continents have long qualifying methods like Africa, North and South America. More international breaks and it's not convenient to club football in any way.

Every 3 years would perfect for Iran. It means more coverage and more competitive games for TM

This won’t happen , as has been said it would disrupt the qualification process and other international tournaments.
Plus a lot of countries they pick now build new stadiums and other infrastructure so it wouldn’t give them enough time to be prepared.

I think the 2018 World Cup was the last exciting tournament before it's all going down the drain and teams like Qatar, China and start participating.

Best solution is to have it every 3 years.

If you want to keep Eurocup, Asian cup and co, put them the year before a world cup. Then the year between WC and Eurocup would serve for common qualification for the next continental and world cup.
If you don't want to keep Eurocup and co, organize a continental league during the 2 years which also serve as WCQ.

Should remain every 4 years...can have a world league like volleyball
