Nope, he is easing himself back into training.

But good sign he is there even to participate in some drills.

For all we know, it's more mind tricks by CQ. The SK team used it in their lead up to the WC games to confuse the other team's scouts. Although our guys have very unique looks, the number game may be a distraction for the opponents

didn't they have players swap jerseys during a friendly lmaoooo

I'm sure by now that other teams coaching staff knows that PAG is a defender, not play maker and that jb is a starter not some random gulf league player

It's strange, but I like this somewhat different approach. Every player gets a free number and sticks to that, even if he becomes a superstar or nobody. So Dejagah sticked to #21, despite being a key midfielder and should have worn sth like #10, #8 or even #18 or #20 instead.

i think dejagah sticks with 21 because its tehrans area code

one day our goalie is gonna wear #10

shkan always wore number 21 through his career. already 11 years ago in wolfsburg. thats just his number lol

Maybe in his case, but same story about getting a random number and sticking to that can be seen with Jahanbakhsh, Ghoochannejhad and pretty much everyone else.

Really hoping Gholizadeh makes it for the Asian cup!

Will be interesting to see who will be excluded if Gholi make it. My guess is between Nourollahi or Kanani, and most likely Kanani, highly doubt CQ exclude Montazeri!

We are 10 days away from the Asian Cup. Hopefully he can recover. 18 days if you consider Yemen and Vietnam games as a wash.

Don't understand, ARJ was suppose to play 3 weeks ago for Brighton.

sounds like news filler to me ... he's obviously been solo training ... doesn't mean he's match fit; old news made into headlines to turn heads ... :S
