I am pretty sure Kanani will make the list, so one between Khanzadeh, Cheshmi and Montazeri will be dropped! Can be Khanzadeh because the other two can play in other positions.

Yes Kanaani is making the list 100%. Khanzadeh should be the one getting dropped as Cheshmi offers a CDM option.

Both are CB who their supposed strength lies in quality build-up of attack from the Backline...!!
however, one in twilight of his career and not sure what fitness and form he is in of late? and anymore how spry..??
the Other (Cheshmi) possess excellent poise and awareness and vision (especially for an IPL player..!) however he is Awful SLOW in Reaction and Decision-making that renders him a total suspect as a CB ..!! and even mostly not quiet up to par to international levels at his much more comfortable-in DM position..!!
with Kanani in the starting mix ..... i'd assume Cheshmi was moved up to more of a DM position..??? he looked shaky as fk as a CB in a friendly a while back..... im sure Carlos take note of that..??

anybody can elaborate on how we lined up and play...?? or do we not wanna disturb/expose further the supposedly close-door fantacies of El Carlito..?

Unfortunately CQ loves Khanzadeh and has had a lot more time with him than most other players he was the first to join many of the camps in 2018....also add on the fact that he was one of the young guys CQ opted for over seyyed jalal makes it highly unlikely he drops him. one of those players I’ll never understand what CQ sees a single good thing in. Also Khanzadeh can play as RB/DM in addition to CB he has been used in those positions many times in his days at Persepolis, Siah Jamegan and Zob Ahan.

Don’t worry about this game , I kind of expected this performance from our team today.
