It's not the current situation any more really as he is gone....

The toxicity you describe is between Queiroz and parts of the iranian media and clubs - for the players it hasn't had a negative effect. If anything it has galvanised them - as per what they have said themselves they give everything for him. So I don't see this "toxicity" you describe but as a siege mentality. If anything, I think it has been positive, again as per what the players say.

Toxicity is locker-room bust ups of 2006, players slapping each other on the pitch, players not passing to each other.

If this is toxicity, based on the discipline and teamwork I've seen of Iran over the last few years, then toxic me up to the max.

      Beautifully said!

Toxicity is Branko 2006 World Cup camp ... where players were divided into different camps.

Then why have we historically struggled (2010, 2002, 1994 etc)? Why does Korea always qualify? It's because they're definitely top 4 over decades.
Right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must.

I can't talk about 1994 as I didn't follow those as much as the others but most of our failures have been due to coach and federation failure.... Players also need to take some blame.

Even in 1998 and 2014 when we actually made it you can say we were lucky to do so. 1998 was the weirdest as we actually had a good team but due to coaching issues we went from actually winning our group to finishing second to loosing against Japan and beating Australia on away goal rules!

Asia is such a weak football continent, Japan, Korea and Australia are probably top 3 teams, with Iran and Saudi at 4th and 5th. All other teams are very weak. Qatar looks like they are improving alot but the rest are just not competition.

Iran should qualify as long as there is a decent coach and decent planning. Actually achieving something on the world stage however requires more then the above two.

This is the most united TM I have ever seen. Anyone blind to this and the effect of CQ on these guys should stick to club football.

Absolutely 100 percent agree with you Milad jan, King Carlos united everyone in TM and the players played their hearts out for him any game.
