Was watching an English stream and they have noted that Dejagah has been our best player of the half. Noted how he passes with his head up, gets involved in every play and surveys the pitch at all times. I’m very happy wth him and well done taremi god to see he’s on his game!!
Negatives: Hajsafi is non stop accident prone, no good passes. Would like to see Milad in so Carlos can rethink things for the Vietnam game. Hosseini bit too aggressive. Ramin didn’t deserve a yellow. Ebrahimi pretty absent.
Hoping to see Ghoddos in, he will tear this team apart with his dribbling, passing and long range shots, this is his game! Bring him on for torabi!--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------

Asian Cup 2019 Day #3 Commentary:
There is no doubt that the top highlight of day 3 was Iran's emphatic win over Yemen by 5 goals. This was a statement win not only for other teams in the tournament, but also for those inside Iran critical of the coach and its defensive tactics and low scoring wins in the past. Iran confirmed its intention to lift the cup, despite the humble yet calculated approach by Carol Queiroz who claims the favorites are S Korea, Japan and Australia. In the other matches on day 3, Kyrgyz proved to be a resilient team and showed how capable they are to push a well organized team like China to the edge. Kyrgyz Republic has the potential of being a regular contender in Asian competitions. Despite the win, South Korea did not look as sharp as expected against Philippines. Korea was indeed missing its star goal scorer, but Philippines also deserve the credit for the gusty performance they put on coming close to scoring against one of the best in Asia on number of occasions. They will a real challenge for any team in Asia.Comment
