I would be happy using ParsTV stream if their quality was good and they didn't commentate over the OZ stream.
I agree. I'm just stating that GLwiz isn't to blame based on everything said. If ParsTV bought the rights and charged GLwiz a fee to broadcast the game, it's only the fault of ParsTV for providing a shit quality.

Also ParsTV can be sued by FOX for redistributing their stream. Not sure if FOX will care though.

I doubt ParsTv paid anyone anything for the rights to Iran games.

I think ParsTv paid Glwiz some money and asked to block IRIB3 for
      Iran matches.

Telewebion was streaming the IRIB3 broadcast is ParsTv going to sue them?

It was a very bad decision by Glwiz, they could at least show the IRIB3 pictures
which had much better quality and let their "commentators" talk over it. This was
an insult by Glwiz to all it's subscribers.

We should collectively send them a note and complain. People signed up for Glwiz
just to watch the games and they got stabbed in the back by Glwiz. Extremely bad
      business practice.

Hey hey no need to get defensive about it. We're just humble team Melli fans trying to watch our games with a decent video stream. Someone here is trying to swindle us and we shouldn't stand for this tomfoolery.

I am not sure. I was told that Glwiz has been warned about broadcasting in the US.

It is not cheap to buy these broadcast rights, and I am sure AFC's legal time is monitoring different regions.

No idea what will happen tomorrow with them. I know from the experience that when Iran has a major football match, I can't rely on Glwiz. It either gets blocked, or Glwiz turns into every three-second buffering, often for too long. Flood of football fans from around the world does not allow their limited servers to respond to demand. I had an online streaming service a long time ago, and it was not cheap to provide a live stream to so many people. Only major companies with good source of income from advertisement can afford huge size bandwidth in HD.

I would rely more on satellite TV and record the match if I am at work.

                Mokhlesim.
Glwiz showed all Iran's matches at the recent WC on IRIB3.
Actually they showed all WC matches. I think they have immunity.
They show all EPL and La Liga matches regularly every day live
with decent quality and Persian commentary.

I doubt ParsTV paid for any rights. If they did, I would like to see the
                contract they signed with AFC.

And I can assure you that regardless of the number of posts I have, I'm as die hard a team Melli fan as anyone here.

If you care and want justice:
                    #1. Complain to GLwiz
                    #2. Report ParsTV to AFC - http://www.the-afc.com/contact
                    #3. Report ParsTV to FOX - feedback@foxsports.com.au

Also @Mansoor needs to answer for the broadcast and why they illegally rebroadcasted a FOX stream.

are you having a special agenda here? let it go, I am sure they will clarify, thanks

also what's up with reporting them to "Fox or AFC" are you telling me you guys would rather miss watching the games in the US then having someone broadcasting them for us?

seriously.... what's up with the hatred. IF anything illegal was done, then no worries I am sure someone has reported them already and considering we all speak in English here it is easy for outsiders to monitor Persian TV activities without even having to tune-in on any channel or device. Either way I am very surprised about what I read here, I do understand the frustration of low quality, IRIB getting blocked etc but get your facts first before judging others and I don't think any of us knows all the details right now.

One world sports has the broadcasting rights for Asia cup in North America. IF they did acquire the broadcasting rights, it would be from them.

I'm happy to have at least one option to watch the games in Europe, so stop complaining.

IRIB is an entity in Iran. Suing an Iranian company is nearly impossible. Copyright laws in Iran don't apply for external companies.

So IRIB can do what they want. ParsTV though is based in California and can be easily be sued and taken to court.

That should not be your take on this. What ParsTV did was not only unethical, but they have obviously breached many copyright laws in the process.
Also there was HD streams available of the same channel ParsTV rebroadcast illegally. So if you are posting on this forum I could have given you a better option.
