If you were 'Carlos Queiroz' - would you rest your starting players for game against Vietnam?

After easy 5-0 win against Yemen. would you rest some of your starting player, to keep them in shape against Iraq on Jan. 16th.

No - Vietnam is a dark horse, not worth risking it.
I would play full power vs Vietnam if I were CQ, and depending on the results of other matches we may be then able to field our B team against Iraq in the last match!

I don't think we have a "starting 11" per se. That's the beauty of what CQ has created.

Interesting was the players he subbed out early - for me that's a sign that these are his 3 key players. Taremi, Amiri (despite having a poor game) and Hosseini - other positions can be rotated and swapped but what these guys bring no other players can.

Full Force against Vietnam no question about that! They are the Southasian Champions, they good decent results recently and we never face them
before. That their Coach said that they are not able to defeat TM is nothing more than a mind game.

Def. no to sending B-Team against Iraq. I sure that CQ didnt forgot AC 2015! A sweet victory over them is needed.

Why is Carlos Queiroz in inverted commas in the title. Is he a fictional being?

This might be the end for DJPedram. If Amoo sees this it might be the 3rd strike.

I like DJPedram, he’s a positive member here. But there’s no need to open threads for everything. Categorize them and add your thoughts to corresponding threads

Of course full force. We need to beat Vietnam to lock down advancing from the group and we must finish first to give ourselves the best chance of making it to the semis. The last thing we want is to go in to our game against Iraq with uncertainty.
