Just spoke with the referee of the Lebanon-Saudi game. Said he's terrified the Saudis will do to him what they did to Khashoggi if he doesn't call all 50-50s in their favor and give them a couple of cheap penalties.
Come to think of it, I am almost convinced the AFC's decision not to have VAR in the group stages is probably a calculated decision so they can control who goes through to the knockout stages.
Also, I seriously doubt the Saudi-Emirati coalition in the AFC will allow Iran to win the title on Arab soil given the current political climate. I am looking forward to being proven wrong on this one.

when it comes to playing arab teams and their grass rolling, i say fcuk fair play. if they go down when we have possession, just keep playing, attack, and score.
