Man of the match for me is Beiranvand. Without the penalty save, the game would have been vastly different because Oman would have parked the bus for the remainder of the game and scoring would have been much more difficult. That save ensured an open game. Damet garm Beiro.

I'm not sure about the Asian Cup, but in the WC as well as other tournaments, yellow cards (unless 2 in a game causes a red) reset after the quarter finals I believe.

finishing was a bit lacking but besides that we dominated the possession and were the superior side almost throughout the match except perhaps the jittery first few minutes..!!
