Summary : I go officially to scout Iran, Iraq, etc.. in asian cup but I just enjoy some vacations in Dubai. At the end of my vacations I saw quickly a summary of the final where Iran won the cup by beating SK 10/0.
In july 2019 my club signed Sushimoto that featured in Japan's loss against Vietnam in AC2019

I have a full hate for these so called scouts. If these blind people did their job correctly, our players wouldn't been rotting in 2tier european leagues at best. May they burn in hell

Iranian players are not good marketable merchandises compared to Japanese, Korean, Aussie, Chinese or even Saudi football players. TV rights and advertisement money are not in Iranian players' package. If we had a semi democratic regime with a free market, Iranians could be interesting deals for top flight european football clubs.

Thanks for bringing this up aziz. People tend to forget that fact. The package is not just the player and his skills but the merchandise that comes with it. The couple of hundred thousands Iranians living abroad are nothing compared to Japanese and Chinese markets. That's a pure fact like it or not.

Werder Bremen already know how good Ashkan is. Maybe they need a GK??

Victim complex. Our current players aren't just good enough to compete in big leagues. Unfortunately JB proved it. Plus it's not like our players have been impressive even in the non-big leagues this season.

This bothers me too. However I am of the opinion that it lies in our power to change that. Our players have to show the scouts that they are better than the japanese and the others. Therefore we have to beat Japan in the semi-final and Korea in the Final. we need the direct duels. Other countries are dominating the Asian Cup for years (Japan won it 3 times in the last 5 editions) so it seems understandable that the scout prefer their players.

You will eat your words in a couple of years, when JB becomes one of the star players in that team.

Yes our players aren't good to play in big leagues (I don't even speak about top teams there btw) when they showed stellar performance against the Argentina nobodies in 2014, Spain, Portugal and Morocco in 2018, flinished best scorer of Eredivisie, scored against Ateltico, Bayern, Ajax, etc.., stopped CR7 penalty.

Also, they need absolutely to beat Japan and SK during this AC (as if we didn't beat SK left and right for several years now) to show the world our players deserve to play in big league.

Oh and our players aren't marketable because our country is less sexy than Japan. What about the like of Egypt, Ivory coast, Zambia, Israel? Market is one thing, having a good level is what matters most. Udinese/Atalanta had the idea to seach an iraqi, they don't even think about an iranian with what our players proved recently? What about AZ/NEC not seaching an other iranian after JB?

About JB, I still think he chose the wrong club/league but when you have so few choice after being topscorer of Eredivisie, what do you expect. And let some time to the guy to adapt to EPL before jumping on him

EXACTLY. Mo Salah didnt really shine his first season of EPL either. Give it some time and ARJ will be a force to be reckoned with.
