Do we really want to end up with a cup and competition where the likes of Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, Singapore and hong kong end up winning cups by naturalizing all foreign players? At least the Africans in french team are born them and are French but these people are just naturalizing people to get results.
This is the exact thought I had. I'm honestly not happy that Qatar won, rather have Iraq win this tbh. Atleast they play with people from their own country.

      Not all of them.

Iraq problem was killing themselves trying to defeat Iran and not conserving energy for this game

Yes, they sure showed it when they were playing janghai with us.

Get that IR stuff out of here.

This is why you don't go crazy and go all out to win a 3rd group game.
See what happened to Iraq? They had no fitness and suffered at least 2 injuries.

These tournaments are about planning, fitness and luck.

This isnt' mahallat football where you can just dribble and get past everyone with flashy football.

I wish Iraq had tired them out more so both South Korea and Qatar could be tired.

You are a bit obsessed with a third-tier Asian team.
You seem to be obsessed with them too, if you call them third-tier Team.
I totally dislike them but i have to admit that they are hell of an opponent!

It's confirmed now, Iran-Qatar final, both teams reaching there with virgin nets.

                      Bet on it.

maybe they've changed names, but this time most of the players seem to be arabs or north africans. they missed pedro miguel from the list below, but it's not as bad as 4 years ago with players from south america.

                          This!

Iran had a hand to play in kicking the Iraqis out.

Outside the Asian Cup, they are nothing to write about.

Want proof? Go see where they have finished in the final group stages of the last 5 World Cup qualifiers.

Qatar have 2 Sudanese players suspended for the match versus South Korea. Hopefully they can find 2 Congolese to take their place.

Guys let's just feel the pain of Iraqi people now, their team is genuinely a national team not a best of Africa imports for a team with 0 fan base. For Asian soccer to grow it needs genuine teams with real fans and passion not one purchased by oil money.
When I saw the passion of Iraqi people on the stands it just reminded me of us, they love their team and it represents their nation so we should be respectful of them from now on, the past is past.
