AFC Asian Cup 2019 Quarter Final: China-Iran; Info, Updates & Live Updates (24.01.19)
First. I want to say. If Taremi works on his finishing. The team I have seen in this tournament is more than capable of beating any European team. Now over to the negativity. I'm worried we gassed out. We will face Japan, their players are fit and gets to rest more than us. I also hope Queiroz has a good plan against Japan, because Im certain the Japanese coach will examine this match when he sets up his tactics against us.
Are you from Japan brother? CQ has been rotating our players and fatigue is the last thing on my mind.
Remember Rahmati and Aghili? I love the "if you think you are above the team, then get the F out" mentality of CQ
He learned it from Sir Alex. When Ronaldo came on for the first time and did stepovers for no reason and messed up he shoved him on the bench and told him to quit the garbage!

Yes, how on earth will we deal with the 2 extra hours of rest that Japan have over us.
i have no idea why everyone is so excited, we start every game so badly in the early minutes, our defence has been lucky and come up against weak sides, the attack with our main boys have been missing chances left and right, japan has a extra gear and i hope cq has a ace up his sleeve, great performance by tm all round professionalism, id rather seen more passing then running from us, even if we won 1 0 but not exhausted ourselves, i don't mean to be negative these are just my observations, tough task ahead, lets get focused.
The best part about this team is that it goes game by game. Full focus on the task at hand. This has been the difference for us.

Yet we’re yet to be scored on, and fail to win when it matters.
Let’s be fair, the likes of Japan, Australia, UAE, KSA, Jordan, Qatar and Iraq have conceded from even much weaker teams than those that we have so far played. With all due respect I think your negativity is quite uncalled for. [emoji846]
The real test of mental/physical strength will come in the semifinals against Japan.
Team Melli has momentum and a lot of confidence at the moment. We are playing very well. We are dominating, we are dictating the speed of the match due to our comfort holding the ball.
There could not be a better opponent to face Japan than Iran. The semifinals are truly the Top 4 national teams in Asia.
This match will test our national team to see how far we can go, how far we can climb without quitting due to fatigue. Mental toughness will be measured and tested against a speedy and technical Japan.
Japan may not have scored more than 1 goal against Vietnam but they are aore technically gifted and aware opponent who can defeat us. We need to focus on this match as it is our final and NOT take the 2-0 vs Vietnam mentality into the match vs Japan.
I repeat, as fans, let’s not take the 2-0 victory over Vietnam mentality into the semifinals vs Japan. This will be a completely different match and a completely different scenario with tired legs from both teams.
"#AsianCup2019: 🇨🇳 China 0 - 3 Iran 🇮🇷
No teamwork and no motivation, #China has failed miserably at the @afcasiancup by losing to #Iran at the Quarter-final. Demolished by a semi-pro national team with 11 times less funding."
LOOOOL

Lmao do they think we are Kosovo or something? Talk about uninformed opinions...
As I said before, I expected this game to be easier than Oman, since we had no way of knowing our opponent for that round. Let’s not forget, China was our expected quarter final opponent before start of tournament so CQ and his analysts had prepared for them thoroughly. Japan won’t be easier but I expect CQ and te team to have already prepared extensively for them
