he should have said goodbye after the last asian cup

but the only reason he's here is because he's the link between CQ and the players, had it not been for that he'd be watching the AC on the couch drinking tea with ando and jalal

The rest is up to the execution of the players.
How dearly he will be missed. In the past 8 years he has only had 7-8 losses which includes 2 Asian cups and 2 world cups grouped with some world power teams such as Argentina, Spain and Portugal. We almost beat Portugal and drew Spain while beating Africa’s champions.

Soon will come days that we look back and do this> [emoji1750]*[emoji3603][emoji1324]*[emoji3603] for having had such jewel in our football and took him for granted for a straight 8 glorious years!

Masoud was still relevant right up to Iran 1-1 Turkmenistan match in Dashaghuz in June 2015. After that match Masoud was done for me, same happened to Ando as a leader. Qatar ruined them both. Deja and Gucci declined there too. Qatar is a swamp. Taremi should watch out.

Masoud could accompany the team like Nekonam as an assistant. His spot could go to Alipour or another talented kid from IPL or abroad.

Is it just me or everyone else feels this kind of stress and excitement before any major Iran match ???? I can assure you that I didnt feel this much stress during world cup 2017 qualificaton campaign. Its like your stomach feels something itchy or cuddling sensation and ur whole body is out of control. You feel colder than normal days ... Does anybody else feel this???

It’s almost 3:30 a.m. here on the east coast in the U.S. and I cannot sleep because every time I close my eyes I see Sattar Zare and an absolute horrible feeling, yet an exciting feeling comes to my stomach.

As much as Carlos Queiroz and Team Melli are aware of the 2004 Asian Cup incident and end result, I’m willing to bet you that Marcelo Lippi and China know of this as well.

I’m turning this memory into a positive affirmations that “Team Melli will defeat China. Team Melli will not repeat mistakes. Team Melli is deserving of a semi-final spot. Team Melli has worked so hard to lose tomorrow. Iran will win. Iran will make it to the semi-finals and Sattar Zare’s tears will become tears of joy for 80 million tomorrow.”

Don't forget that foul against Karimi. The Chinese defender should have been sent off.

in 2007 we couldn't get the job done as we tied china 2-2. we were down 2-0 that game btw.

lets send these punks home crying..

Yeah - that was as blantant as it gets. Those are the type of calls you get when you play at home. To think we had a bad miss to win it before it got to pk too. Anyway, good luck to the lads today. Every game is tough now but I didn’t see anything out of this team that should concern us.
