the fact that our second goal even went to VAR gives suspicion. its the AFC we're talking about here. bribes can happen during half time and we've seen our NT get booted from tournaemts before. 2-0 this game is far from over

You do know that the referee and the VAR are 2 different things, right? If the VAR tells the referee to review a scene, he has to do it and he fairly decided that the goal was correct.

In Taremi's pk scene the referee clearly waited for the VAR because he wasn't sure and tbh it was the correct call by both the ref as the VAR as I didn't think it was a pk either.
