The referee rightfully called it a goal, but it was the VAR that told him to review it.

AFC said VAR was called only for offside suspicion. Nothing to do with a foul

Going to miss Taremi's linkup play with Sardar. They obviously have great chemistry.

Wonder who CQ will use in that position. To me Ghoddos would be the perfect setup man to pair with Azmoun. You could use AJB but he's better suited for RW/ RM. And Karim is an out an out striker not a setup man.

Is this the best TM ever?? Even back in the day when we had the likes of Karimi, Hash, Kia and Daei, we were struggling with mediocre asian teams and now we are just outstanding. The ball control, the combinations and pass accuracy. This is something that I have never seen with TM. FML!!! I've never ever been so passionate about this team. We really need to keep CQ untill 2022. Anyone who lets him go, should be jailed for at least 5 years!

I think it's a big blow - the thing about taremi is his partnership with Azmoun has been so good over the last 2 years. Azmoun doesn't really have that understanding with anyone else (except perhaps with Rezaeian) and together they always generate chances aplenty....

We have very good players who can come in but that partnership is gone

We haven't been able to string together passes for decades. Just on that alone, this TM is something special. Never mind hundreds of other things.

only negative from today is missing Taremi for next match..!! a huge miss too..!
he is an integral part of our starting line up and his offensive partnership with Azmoun will be sorely missed, not to mention his very much understated offensive pressing and his role as a provider ....
