Glad to see at least some here get it. I have read others calling this beautiful strategy "Ali Asgari" and solely relying on the opponent's mistakes. So sad.

This is the best TM has played since a spell we had with the likes of Hash, Karimi, Kia etc etc.

The world is really liking the style TM are playing as well. Great to see. Lets hope they bring home the trophy but Japan...then potentially Korea/Australia await!

ghoddos, torabi, amiri, ansarifard, shojaei (please god no)

The reason I put amiri there is because I think this line up might work quite well with Japan as we need lots of runners and speed! Haj Safi did really well and I would like to see him there again.

additional note: this is what makes it difficult for Ghoddos to make the starting Line up. technically gifted but to short and weak for that style of play. He usually comes in after a change in the game plan like in WC. Q values tactics higher than individual class. Rightfully!

Is this the best TM ever?? Even back in the day when we had the likes of Karimi, Hash, Kia and Daei, we were struggling with mediocre asian teams and now we are just outstanding. The ball control, the combinations and pass accuracy. This is something that I have never seen with TM. FML!!! I've never ever been so passionate about this team. We really need to keep CQ untill 2022. Anyone who lets him go, should be jailed for at least 5 years!

This is the best team in our history, ever!

Even in our golden years in the seventies we didn't have such a cohesive well orchestrated tactical and physically strong team.

In the seventies we had abundance of stars in our football who carried the team and got us results, but In terms of team work, tactics, awareness they were no where near this team.

All credit goes to Carlos and his outstanding effort and work.
