One thing is certain. Japan comes in the best possible condition possible to the SF. They rested most of their starters in the 3rd group game, played no extra time and also don't have any suspended players as all five players that were on a yellow didn't reiceive a yellow card today.

We better finish off China in regular time and avoid yellow cards for the players that are on the verge of suspension.

I agree , Vietnam got in good positions but weeent savvy enough to crate chances, hence they kept taking on 25 yards shots or playing the wrong ball.
I’ve said it in the previous games , Japan towards the end of games look very vulnerable.

That's a shame because I don't feel Japan was even worn out by this game and I was worried by their second half fitness, even though our boys' 2nd half fitness is much better than it was. I was hoping they would be sapped because am worried that they are hiding a third gear.

Im still not convinced with the notion that Japan is just scrapping by. IMO they are playing possum and they are favourites for this tournament. Lets not forget how they came out and said we are the best team and we are the favourites. They are trying to put all pressure on us, knowing that they will have to go through us to get to the finals. We will see a different team in the semis from these guys. Mark my words.

Yes, they have a lot of depth and some very experienced heads. I am pretty sure we haven't seen their bite yet.
