Azmoun: 11/10. That boy is scary. He looks extremely focused and is constantly thinking, constantly active, constantly a threat. He is showing his full potential right now and I am loving it. Nightmare for defenders.

I love Dejagah's role of distributing as we don't need him as a winger with Amiri and Torabi on hand.
If Mehdi is out next game then that is a pretty bad blow. Even though he lost the ball a whole bunch of times and didn't bury a sitter, he is excellent in creating opportunities and positioning.
2nd half was really lack luster but it didn't really matter. Although Iran was good, China was far below us in quality. They didn't know how to deal with our physicality, pressure, and positioning.
I wonder who Carlos will pick among Ansarifard, Ghoddos, Amiri, and Torabi. I don't know why but Karim is low on my list as a starter.

We scored 3 goals on forced errors, and none of it was luck or coincidence. We were just quicker and more focused.
We are going to miss Taremi's physicality vs. Japan, but we can replace him.
This game might have taken another turn too, if it was for Rezaeian saving tackle in the beginning, but we were just too flawless and good today. Lesson for next game: be more focused in the first minutes.

Shame we will have to eliminate my other favorite Asian team in the semi-final already.

It’s intresting how each game prepared us for the next by level of difficulty:
Yemen prepped us for Vietnam who prepped us for Iraq who prepped us for Oman who prepped us for China who prepped us for the Japs!!

We haven't seen much action from him besides the goal of course.. man if Taremi and Sardar could go to focus school and finish some of these easy shots Iran would have distroyed every team by a large margin..Good game but here comes a World Cup Opponent...Lets go boys!

This was a very physical and heavy game. All goals were due to great hustle and strength. Rezaean seems to have a good football IQ and reads the game well, plays with ease. Ebrahimi played well, Pouraliganji was a beast, he is so powerful and has a pretty strong skull lol. Ashkan is and has been CQ's ace in his sleeve. nice combination play between our front guys (Azmoun, taremi, Jahanbakhsh) azmoun and Taremi both played very well. Azmoun was just too much for China to handle. Great speed and strength looked like a cheeta chasing rabbits. He did run a lot though and Taremi will not play in the next game I hope he is ready to go for the next game. A big khastenabashid to players and coach and his staff. Just Two more games, we are so close.
