Taremi is definitely one of our best performers whenever we play Qatar, who seems to be our opponent in the final once we hopefully get there.

Seriously dude, only 10?! He deserved at least an 11 for that performance!

        JB-Dejagah-Ghoddos
        Azmoun
Good, but I say, either Ansari-Fard or Torabi instead of Ghoddos at least for the start. We need to keep the aerial advantage.

          Beiro
          Ramin-PAG-Hosseini-Milmo
          Omid-Dej-Amiri
          JB-Azmoun-Torabi

Guarantee you this will be the lineup.

I think he's going to play Hajsafi again next to Ebrahimi since that pairing worked wonders last game. I expect Amiri to play in Taremi's spot with Torabi coming in as a sub

He is probably one of top 3-4 TM players in level of efficiency.
Plus most of the time he creates his own chances....
Hi mate , hope you are well and enjoying the games !

You are absolutely correct, Taremi is all that you said , it is great that we have such a strong squad that any player can be replaced easily without too much worry even if the coach needs to adjust his plans ,we have the tools and a great conductor .

All of our lads played well ,some like Sardar were exceptional ,Jahanbakhsh a bit below par ,Taremi fantastic but that horrible miss tainted his good game .

              Everyone gave their best .

Our next game and hopefully the one after that and players picked for those games would all depends on our game plan against the team we are playing according to analysis of the team we are facing .

There is for sure Beiranvand in goal and Pouraliganji in centre back , Sardar upfront ,Omid Ebrahimi midfield , rest of the team could be anyone really depending on our tactics against our opponent.

You guys who praise taremi are truly mind blowing in your logic. Yes he hustles a lot and has good chemistry up front with azmoun but for crying out loud how many more opportunities does this guy need to miss from 5 yards out for you to understand he is not a lock int he XI like you say?! does it need to get to the point where he misses one like yesterday int he final when its 0-0 in the 90th minute? his miss vs portugal was not enough I guess.....

I want to be clear - I do like him and do acknowledge what he brings to the game (hustle, good chem, good movement off the ball, etc.) but when you have guys who can play on the wing like ghoddos, amiri, dejagah, hajsafi, etc. he is by no means a MUST like some are saying. I hope with Saman likely to start on Monday, you guys will see that that more clearly (fingers crossed/knock on wood )
                Team Meli Iran
                Perspolis FC
                Malavan Bandar Anzali

You might be right. I considered that lineup too. It really depends on how he wants to start the game. If he wants to go at Japan then Torabi, but if he wants to play on the defensive to start then Amiri. I know he is pretty reactive in general so you might be right with that lineup in order to test the waters and see what approach Japan is going to bring to this game. I am sure he has the feeling that they are going to show their hand here now that this will be their most difficult match regardless of whether they make the final or not.

Same line up as CHN match with one forced change:

                    Biro
                    Ramin-PGA-Kanan-Milad
                    JB-Ashkan-Omid-Haji
                    Sardar-Karim

                    Iran 4 - Japan 0

                    Sardar(2), Ashkan(1), Karim(1)

I prefer Kaveh Rezaei to him. Kaveh hustles as much (if not more) but finishes better. Shame Kaveh is injured.
