The article is from 2015. Let us just focus on the game. VAR should take care of any glaring mistake. If we had VAR in the Iran vs Iraq game then the 2nd yellow leading to red could have been reversed.

No dude, experimental my butt, they brought everything they got. I agree they're less than they were last year but experimental non sense is just an excuse to lessen their loss if they lose and at the same time lessen Iran's accomplishment specifically CQ's unprecedented success. I am not buying it for a second.

Some people here wanna make a big "Ghool" out of japan ! They are strong team since they are professional but they are not that cordinated at the moment ! specially in their deffense line! I watched 4 of their games and their deffense line is not that great !

Just imagine if CQ kicked out 5-6 well known players from the team ! people would go crazy ! We already saw what happened when CQ kicked out Seyed Jalal hosseini! This is the backward mentality that most iranians have ! You just cant accept the facts here !

My observation:
This Japanese team seems to be composed of some old men who are ready to retire. Some cannot even pass anymore. They had a hard time against Kyrgystan and some other teams. The reason they won was using brain and a surprise attack near the end of games. Surprise attack with full force in the last few minutes or seconds has become a new phenomenon in every sport.
Our players are smart and will not be ambushed. JAPAN WILL LOSE
