if japan was using this tournament as a prep for the world cup which is 4 years away then they would have sent their U-19 team. japan wants to win this thing, just not as bad as we do.

although i don't think japans goal vs vietnam should have disallowed, they have been getting a few questionable PKs in their favor. i don't like that ben williams successor has been chosen to officiate our match, but in the form TM is in right now i don't see a referee decision being a factor in our games.

although we are the underdogs, i don't see how the team that beat morocco, almost beat portgual, and almost tied spain can be afraid of an unconvincing japan team that is in a rebuilding phase.

i was shocked how we beat china last game, can't remember when we put up 3 goals in a win. usually its 1-0. this TM is very scary and I'm loving it

pls no, don't give Japan that much respect, they're not that good, we should play our own game, Japan should fear us. Don't want to see bs game like 2011 against South Korea, they showed way too much respect.

This is a an experimental Japan side that is being prepared for the 2022 WC. Japan FA are not really aiming to win the AC as they are preparing the team for the WC. But this is is not the case for Iran. We need this win. CA needs this win and IFF too as this will determine where our football goes next

I know this is a fake account but that's not the point. Just read some of the comments. It seems to me that refs from countries in which football isn't the number one sport are just incompetent. The last time I had a bad feeling about a ref was Benjamin williams in 2015 and unfortunately I was right back then. Hopefully this time I'll be wrong.
