Torabi is a must for this game! I will never forget how he toyed with Yoshida and the rest of the Japanese defense in our friendly against Japan in October 2015 and won us the penalty! Only then for Dejagah to mess it up and for Torabi to score off the rebound. We definitely lost that match because of Haghighi!

I think CQ starts Amiri for Taremi suspension and keeps rest of lineup the same. But Wouldn’t surprise me either to see him start Ghoddos over Jahanbaksh since he is fresh. I don’t think he starts both of them , since that leaves torabi and ansarifard as our only options to bring on as attacking subs

People think that if we win this game the final will be a cake walk...I disagree. 2 games left. Also, people are saying Japan are crap because they barely scored any goals and played scrappy...but they STILL won with half a team which effectively is their B side.

This game will go to extra time and maybe even pk. As the game drags on tied I think it will be more benificial for Japan. I wouldn’t take them lightly even though they are not the same Japan as years past. The are still a giant in Asia and always play a good game vs Iran.
