we beat a bunch of weak teams and got overconfident, Carlos failed big time against Japan and Iran chokes again in the seims

This game really reflects the two countries in terms of approach and professionalism.

We are overly-emotional, too much rush of blood, too rash....gift them a goal, and then after that completely switch off.

Japan just functional. like a true robot. Unlike us, everytime they coneded this tournament, they didn't lose their head, but rather upped their gear and equalized shortly after.


Sadly, the problems of our country needs more than just CQ to solve. We are mentally weak and too emotional. It's great at times because of our "gheyrat", but against a professional, disciplined team like Japan, it has been our achilles heel.

So so sad....Japan have been rank average every single game of this tournament, haven't won a single game by more than one goal, and here they are with one foot in the final.

This is our team when we're not in defensive formation. We're not talented enough to open up and push like needed to respond to a goal. There's a reason CQ's tactics have worked for us as long as we don't go down a goal.
