Maybe not, but we had enough veterans on the field to calm the players, sadly our veterans(Hajsafi, Ashkan and few others), were the most nervous ones.

our players obviously didnt have the belief and mental strength to keep their heads up and try n make up for their idiotic faux pa with hard running and energetic attempt to get back in it..

I have supported CQ when he has had a good game plan and I have criticized him when he hasn't. After that China match I was really hoping we win this and he stays with TM but let's not kid ourselves, this was a disaster of monumental proportion

CQ should have played Hossieni instead of Kanani. I am very sure Hossieni wouldn't have stopped. Majid Hossieni is much smarter then Kanani. how did this guy suddenly pop into Team Melli? Hossieni was in the 1st team all these while.

CQ wants all his players to gain experience, play big matches...risks need to be taken.

What hearts me the most is, that we were in total control of the game before this stupid 1-0.

After the first game our boys played to nervous and from here we played pure crap.
We couldn't create a single scoring chance out of an open play.

Back in WC 2018 when i was saying that Japan&KSA are superior in Terms of passing game,
creating chances out of combinations, people were angry on me, but today we clearly saw
that we lacked a foundation for our attacking game, which we can rely on when we are 1-0
down. The Saudied created many chances after they went 1-0 down against Japan and i believe
the heavily profited from their passing-game.

Loosing 3-0 is heavy since japan didn't really anything special. They just play too smart for Asian
Teams. I hope that we get our revange against them in WCQ 2022!

Lets cross fingers for Qatar now, so that Japan didnt make it their fifth success in AsianCup.
