After 8 years of CQ, we played some decent organized football and his best result with TM is a third spot at the asian cup, I really wanted to be wrong about him but his temper and ego always makes him make mistakes that cost us. His mind games has cost us so much, he leaves a team that is shattered and some poor bastered has to come clean this mess.

Lets hope for the best, we still have a good talent pool and the future looks bright as long as the next coach gets enough time with the team, this plyers will not respond well to someone less then CQ and with the current situation of iran i would be suprised if they could get someone better.

Guys, why discussing about CQ now, its allmost fix that IFF wont sign up a new contract with him.

I am thankful for what he did for us, but like other coaches he makes also mistakes.

Honestly I don't care about the Asian title (mickey mouse tournament that isn't showed in the rest of the world). I am just fed up to see Japan breaking our possibility to play top teams : Kashima prevent us to play the club world cup, the prevent us to play the confed cup (as we don't struggle to have friendlies and them being invited to Copa america), they transfer even their average players to top leagues while our best are struggle to 2nd class leagues.

Having say that, even if we won the tournament, maybe Infantino would have cancel the Confed cup which would have been more heartbreaking. Now we aren't qualified for it, he will certainly keep it, so hopefully Qatar will beat Japan in the final

Congrats to Japan for the much deserved win. They played well and never stopped attacking, even when holding a 2-0 lead. Not even a World Cup team outplayed us this much, not even the likes of Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Bosnia etc. Our defenders played like rookies today.

I wish CQ would have played 2 forwards. In the first hold Azmoun was all alone, desperately trying to create scoring chances for himself. This wasn't Brazil or England, this was an Asian team of somewhat our own level. We started a cautious line up and it punished us, and then when we got punished, we just remembered it's time to attack, and when we did that then our "invincible" defense got more exposed and vulnerable, hence conceding 2 more goals and getting attacked on left and right.

By far the worst game I have seen of Queiroz's team in the past 8 years. Oh well it's football and happens to all teams of the world. No one escapes harmless and undefeated. Not even the strongest teams of the world. Remember Wold Cup 2014, Brazil getting humiliated at home in front of its own fans? Moral of the story? Life goes on!

Come on everyone! Our TM won like a team and our team lost today because it made childish mistakes that our opponent took full advantage of. We also did not have the leadership on the pitch to pull ourselves back together. I am sure CQ had plans for dealing with the situation when we fell behind but we could not execute. Let's show some character and own that. Blaming one player will not heal our wounds, it just makes it worse. Also, this is a free forum. People have the right to respect and love CQ or not. Let's be civil here.
