Guys, CQ has given TM an international image and identity. He was great when it came to discipline and took no $h*t from Iran's football mafia and the government. But if you think about it now.....

    1. We could always beat teams like China, Oman and Vietnam even with Daei, Ghalenoeii and Ghotbi in charge (only with CQ it was more comfortable).

    2. If we can not beat Iraq, we do not deserve to beat a professional team like Japan! It's as simple as that!

Let's face it......until the state if our country is not well enough and we can not get quality preparations and friendlies, we'll always be a step or 2 behind teams like Japan, with or without a top coach!

well that's what happens when Iran tries to play an offensive style against a mediocre team like Japan....I really hope people start thinking about it. Japan is a benchmark in Asian football, you can't compare them with Korea. They are way ahead of us in terms of football, mentality, discipline etc...and still in worldwide football, they are not more than the average. Furthermore, in my opinion it was a good tournament for Iran. pls be realistic, with this kind of preparation, lack of quality friendlies, lack of infrastructure, lack of strong mentality, lack of discipline, what do you expect from our players? 5 out of 6 players who complained to the ref, are playing in Iran, they have that stupid precritical mentality in their blood, they are told since their childhood that everybody is against them, that everyone is against them.....

Winfried Schäfer was asked in TV about the issue with the ref and he answered that this is daily business in Iranian pro football. Players are told to criticize the ref and start arguing with him.....
      TEAM MELLI UNTIL THE END

Japanese fans coming to the stadium with large empty bin bags and cleaning the stands at FT. Badbakkt kardan maro ba in mamlekateshoon. Sooner see them win the tournament than some filthy oil-rich bunch of Arabs with multiple human rights atrocities on their records.

All in all, tournament was a load of wank as far the hosting and organisation went. These people have no passion for the sport. I'm not sure they have much passion for anything, really.

The team got into mind game that the japanese had planned. The japanese knew that the only way to win was by using psychology. They tried to fall down and pretend being kicked to earn a yellow or a penalty. The ref did not call two serious fouls by japanese. They he gave us yellows instead of japanese. That affected the mindset of our players. we were bad in the beginning but got better and started to have hell in front of japan goal. When BEN WILLIAMS factored set in and with another redneck referee acting unfairly the players got worried about pooladi and sattar factors so they lost their minds.
It was obvious when and how the psychological war got started.

CQ made the biggest mistake of his coaching TM as he wasted Sardar as a solo man in noke hamleh. The japanese had plan to control him. He should have never gone to Qotbi, and Bronko style of one man in noke hamleh. The team lacked leadership. a defender like Jalal would have organized his players and would not go after referee when the japanese were scoring. we could not slow down the game because the japanese were coming fast from every side. Ghodos should have started and not JB. The sad part was that Taremi was suspended because of an unfair card by a qatari referee who is mean and seriously looks devilish. Just add two horns you get a beast.
Not having a good vatani assistant was really bad. Neku should not have left. He could have guided the players from the side. CQ can be appreciated tremendously but his performance in this match was no good. Frankly I wonder if he had a few drinks the night before. The corrupted japanese are good by harming the opponent in every way they can.
If we had lost by shootout the story would not have been so dramatic. BUT I STILL BELIEVE that Ben williams factor was in. This new 32 year old jerk has worked in J league. Aussie redneck factor is main part of the reason for our loss. just look what happened after the redneck gave us the first card.

Happy atleast Taremi and Shojaie can't be blamed for today's match.
No single player should be held accountable, it's all teamwork.

If our team is not challenged by tough matches like today's on a regular basis than i think we need to be far more tolerant, lower our expectations.

These brave men have to deal with far more b.s than we think, their passion, dedication keeps them going.
Let's continue loving and building their self confidence. No breaking, we end up paying for it.

They need us, we need them.

By the way, will they be playing for 3rd place?
Keep calm and believe in Fairies and Footballers Roxanaz

Even i am not for tge arabs, I hope JAPAN will lose the FINAL against Qatar and they will punished Japan. I am still very sad and saw meaby times back Iran-Japan I believe that we had to use other tactical systeem.

What happend to Alireza Beiranvand in 5 matches 0 goals and against Japan we saw another one it was not Alireza Beiranvand from before

Does anyone know why there's no game for bronze?

we need to look at the video carefully. Maybe the ref pointed to foul area and changed his mind even without a whistle. He could have caused the confusion. I have to see it before I conclude that 5 made such a dumb mistake. That ruined it all. damn the referee.

Qatar will crush japan. So we can watch them crumble.
All PGL coaches need to reduce their salaries by 20% and use the extra money to hire sports psychologists. So we shall never see a player going to ref and complaining. When a call is made it is a done deal and you make the ref who may happen to be a jackass your enemy. Look at the japanese how they got away twice fouling and we paying for it. politeness helps even if you are the wrongdoer. The japanese team was a cheater and liar but never complained. They were willing to bend for the ref if he asked for it.

Cheering the players at the end! Good on the fans!

Some moments at the end, our players, the sadness of our team, but our coach standing on the line, welcoming each player home. He is telling them it's ok, mistakes can be made, but we are still one family and I will be here for you, we rise together and we fall together.

More than a coach. More than a mentor. He feels like a father to this team.

that's why i have a weird feeling he may choose to stay... I don't think he'll accept going out like this. We'll see.
