I can understand the frustration towards Kanaani but it’s over now. But I’m one to think if experience was supposed to be the game changer for this match, then Pejman should have started.
I love Kanaani, I’ve followed him since 2012 with Sardar, Jahanbakhsh and that generation. But come on my dude you can’t just stop chasing the ball unless the referee blows his whistle. This is 101 stuff that hurt us. I’m not blaming him I’m just saying that a simple mistake cost us the Asian Cup and we need to look to diminish these errors.
In 2023 it’ll be 46 years that we haven’t won an Asian Cup. Praying to God we have a competent head coach to lead this team.

Losing and getting eliminated when you know the chances are slim to win, is one thing. But to lose like this was truly heart breaking. I wanted to stop posting on PFDC all together for a few months but I can’t hekp but share how unbelievably bad I feel right now. I’m crying as I’m typing.
We worked so hard, we came so far with limited resources.. We had our golden generation accomplish so much and get this far with ease and then one mistake just washes it away..
I’m proud of them for all that this whole team has done from 2011-2019.. But damn does this feel horrible.. I don’t know what else to say except that this pain is worse than the 2011 and 2015 exit. And on top of that we lost an absolute gem of a manager..

One of my original impressions of the Iranian players was their ability to equalize.

With Qatar cruising over UAE, I'm starting to think Xavi may have been the mastermind behind Paul the Octopus from 2010 WC (RIP).
Just unbelievably accurate rate of predictions, many of them very bald. If he was an ordinary joe and made those bets, he'd be up tens of thousands of dollars by now.

Also he has one more game and one crappier opponent in this tournament.I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.
