Stop over-reacting. We lost not because "we aren't that good", but because we switched off for 2 seconds. That is football.
And the rest of the game following the 2 seconds ?

    Please be realistic here.

The first 60 minutes we did not offer anything convincing or of substance going forward beside azmoun who honestly created most of those chances on his own.

Our tactic was crappy and bezan ziresh from the beginning

I’m not sure more direct football would have been much of a surprise to anyone

The damage of his loss has so many levels. Top of it being we are going to lose our coach.

we all know that in every match the ref is against us. if we give them an opportunity they'll screw us over. our players should know this by now. and its always the same culprits; hajsafi and rezaei. i love rezaei, not so much a hajsafi fan, but these two are always in the face of the referee. whether they heard a whistle or not they should have not taken their eye off the ball or japanese player, especially in the final third of the field. in 2004, Zare was wrong for pushing the china player, but he gave the ref a reason to dismiss him. 2015, Pooladi was on the opposite side of a push, but after laying down after ben williams told him to get up, gave williams a reason to book him. now here we are still not learning our lessons. azmoun was lucky not to get a red card for his slap, hajsafi for his headlock and over all TM arguing with the ref instead of just playing. we lost composure for 3 seconds and that is what ultimately destroyed our dreams of advancing.

i still believe that we are better team than japan, maybe not better as individuals, but as a whole unit. but today i can't even say japan were better than us. not trying to take credit away from them, i mean congrats to japan i guess, but we shot ourselves in the foot, cocked the gun away ad shot ourself in the other foot. cocked it back and shot ourselves again for good measure. we are own worst enemy. how the hell is hajsafi our captain when he is the most uncivilized player on the pitch. smh

We did the same in 2006 Iran Mexico game. Defenders and Mirzapour stopped playing because they wanted ref to give offside.

Today the only thing that we thought we have improved on proved to be wrong as well, an well organized defensive team.

I am not sure where it’s going to go from here, but this heartache and disappointment is really not what the people deserve. In this tournament I didn’t see anything special from the team. The proof was the game with Iraq and that should have been a wake up call. I was watching the al Khas channel analysts and they were all on point. We have no tactic we can’t just lob the ball and hope for the best.
We’ve been lieing to ourselves with the ranking, no matter who is going to take over I hope for once some try’s to teach them football culture.

In my opinion CQ haven’t accomplished anything extraordinary with the team,
And i wish for Azmoun to leave too he is arrogant and he thinks he is messi, absolutely no class and acts like a teenager

also, when was the last time we managed to get 4 points in a WC? or tie a team like Portugal with the best player in the world playing for them? Which one of our coaches was able to inspire our players to move to European teams at the rate that they're currently doing?
