Yes he isn't perfect, yes he is emotional and says the wrong stuff sometimes, but if you think when he leaves things won't get a heck of a lot worse then you are either naive or malevolent.
Members of this board saying they would take Mayeli Kohan over Queiroz - makes my brain explode. Az mast keh bar mast.

The love these players have for their coach, the unity of the whole group. I've never seen anything like it before and I'm not going to see it again. it was beautiful. The end of an era. Dametoon garm all of you.

I hope not only CQ leaves but he takes all players and fans that see him bigger than tm with him. I am not joking about Mayeli Kohan. He is great at finding talents and most importantly building us a new team. What has CQ done that Mayeli kohan cannot do? Does CQ care more about Iran than Mayeli Kohan? If someone and I know a lot here will answer yes, then they need their heads examined. King carlos was no king of football maybe king of hearts but no football. We all saw for 8 years TM played kick and chase. TM played so much better under Mayeli Kohan that it is a shame that we are so biased and khareji parast.

We can go on and on...
2 key points:
1. Carlos taught our players to go on the pitch as a team.
Teamwork above everything else! We are all in this together. Don't bring any naneh ghamars to work, I will be your father figure.
At the airport they were saying if we win it's thanks to the whole team and if we lose we are all responsible. Wow!
2. Took TM twice to the World Cup, put us back on the football map.
In my opinion, he has passed his test.
The beautiful fairies were with u.
Thank you Carlos Q Tehrani!
I miss u!Keep calm and believe in Fairies and Footballers Roxanaz

IFF made no offer for CQ to stay, if they wanted him to continue they would have talked before he left today for Lisbon. It's clear this isn't CQ choosing to leave but IFF telling him to do so by letting his contract expire. CQ himself has said time and again they want to go in another direction and he is finding his own solution.

This is the bottom line, which makes me sad, in the end I think CQ would've stayed, but IFF - more likely through the pressure of the Ministery of Sports - didn't even tried to hold CQ, they knew they have to give him many more possibilities. Typical Iranian, why spending money, we can have a masmali solution.
