Looking at the past 8 years, we have had some greatest moments with CQ.

• Qualifying to World Cup twice back to back.
  Playing very good against Argentina in 2014.
  Playing very good against Spain/Portugal in 2018.
  Winning in the world cup after 20 years.

We have had some emotional roller coaster, but in reality we are not the top in Asia.
Looking at Japanese team at National level and Club level, they are much better then us.
They won Asian Champions League
2018 - Kashima Antlers
2017 - Urawa Red Diamonds

Look at Japan national team results with big teams:
Japan vs Uruguay (W 4-3)
Belgium vs Japan (L 3-2)
Japan vs Poland (L 1-2)
Japan vs Senegal (T 2-2)
Colombia vs Japan (W 1-2)
Japan vs Paraguay (W 4-2)
Switzerland vs Japan (L 2-0)
Japan vs Ghana (L 0-2)
Japan vs Ukraine (L 1-2)

Over all, Japanese have performed much better then us. They have hosted World Cup in the past. They have better stadium, better academic schools and better overall teams. We are just lucky that we didn't get to be in group with them during qualification of World Cup.

In summary, we all need to wake up and have lower expectation from our team. We need to be better as nation, we don't have the fundamental in many levels, to be fans, to be players, to be a team, to be coaches to be staff. Even our TV commentator are just pure non-sense and racists at times.

We have so much to learn from Japan nations.

Hajsafi as well, all they did was complain and they got punished for it. it is a typical move but a weaker team.

I disagree.
Japan simply never saw the need to shift to 3rd gear in any of the games.
I'm not saying they are unbeatable. But they are professional and did just enough to get the job done, while conserving their ranks, energy.
As well as keeping their true strength hidden as long as necessary from their upcoming major opponents.

the flaw was we THOUGHT them to be weak, just bcoz we didn't see them at full stretch!

It’s a betrayal. Our team was high on a 5 game unbeaten streak clean sheet and they thought Japan was China! Once again we lose mental focus. We should have scored in the first 30’min and changed Japans game plan instead Japan seduced is into theirs. We lost the brain game. We become dumb and in addition to Japan allowed the ref to screw us as well. We lost to our selves. What else is new ?!!
