OUR RESPONSIBILITY as fans is to remember CQ and keep him in our hearts. He made us fall in love again with our own Team Melli, after our recent dark ages 2007-2011!! We are a loyal people who have always in our history fully appreciated those who sacrifice for us. He fought for eight years against all foes foreign and domestic. Do you remember when they were threatening to fire him for WEARING A TIE?? When they were going to pull his players in front of Majlis for having TATTOOS and ban them from national team?? When his captain was almost banned for playing in a game where players from a political adversary were playing?? He overcame all that
Going to a Colombia game? Take an Iran flag and make sure CQ knows he is not forgotten!
Kids growing up? Make sure to tell them about him and his time at head of Team Melli!
The older generations have told us about their golden generations. I felt affection towards Hejazi, Pius, so many others though I never saw them play. We have to do the same for our Carlos Queiroz who is part of our land's history now.
