Some moments at the end, our players, the sadness of our team, but our coach standing on the line, welcoming each player home. He is telling them it's ok, mistakes can be made, but we are still one family and I will be here for you, we rise together and we fall together.

More cheering for our Team-e MELLI. Good on the fans to do this.

We cannot let 45 minutes (with one big mistake) be the deciding factor, TM been shining for 8 years including this tournament. Even powerhouses like the likes of Brazil, Spain & Germany make mistakes, review their failures, faults and strengths & build on it.

I dont know what happend to me today but today i thought very different than untill yesterday.
I asked myself if Iran really did well in the last years, i mean Qatar for example did magic this year for example, but what did we reach ? I mean arent we onl proud of that big teams didnt destroy us ?
When i talk to collegues they remind Iran as one of the worse teams in WC which came only not to lose( i mean dont you come to WC to make to the second round ? )
We qualified to WC yes, we came to semi final of AFC, yes we have many problems which i accept, but when did we really become a strong team ? After 8 years today i clearly say Iraq and Japan both were the only teams that were real opponents, we couldnt beat both, if it wasnt for the mistame Morocco did, would we have scored in 100 years ?
Are Morrocos players so much better that you respect them as if they are brazil ?
Someone on Iranian TV said we dont even know how to play attacking football so much defensiv games TM had, we wouldnt have beat Japan not even if the mistakes didnt happen, a Japanese team people said its their B team even.
In football everything can happen, all i say is maybe we were proud of wrong things, beeing 1 in fifa ranking doesnt say anything,
Going to WC to show we dont lose 4-0 isnt enough, maybe its time for change, whatever happens

And in writing all this because of dour sentence that TM shined, doesnt Iran have the best squad ever ? Is there no coach in the world who would play 4-3-3 or at least 4-4-2 ? What did CQ think to start with Azmoun alone? How come we fans knew Irans best players and CQ started to have the same opinion now for Asian Cup ?

We must have really different colleagues, or colleagues who respect different things.

Mine were really impressed with how Iran set up like a club team for the world cup, from the guys who said the way Iran defends a corner is better than pretty much any other team to others just praising how well-drilled Iran is.

Even on this site, we have non-iranians who joined (Darryl just sent a message today) on the strengths of our performance in 2014 world cup.

I guess some people like deimi football and watching a maverick dribble around four players before losing the ball, but what i've noticed is that guys who follow football and have been involved in the game respect things like the shape of a team more.

Shit happens, Brazil lost 7-1 to Germany, losing to Japan by 3 goals happens once a decade, but beside everything, media put too much extra pressure on Queiroz and our boys like we have been winning Asian cup right and left. The whole thing was planned and calculated to get rid of Queiroz.

Think we've discussed this quite a bit but personally I think Azmoun is our only high-level talent (as in on par with Mahdavikia, Karimi etc...). Much as I love so many of our players, I don't think they quite have the same levels of ability.

In terms of talent, I believe the squad from 2001-2008 was our most gifted, basically from between post-Pourheidari leaving to Daei taking over. When our most talented players were pretty much at their peak years.

What we do have now is more depth in positions though

                              "Carlos DOOSET DAREM!"

This is the reason CQ loved Iran and vice versa. Such an emotional show of support for Queiroz the Great. THANK YOU for coming back to Iran with the team to allow the people to express their gratitude. It helps with the healing process (I know it helped me watching this clip).
