why did AFC give us a Qatari referee vs china who f*cking gave taremi a very dubious yellow knowing he will miss the semi with japan.... when Qatar are still in the competition?
also, the pig headedness of this Australian ref vs japan, firstly should have blown and yellow carded the Japanese player for DIVING for a penalty!
THEN when he gives a penalty wrongly, VAR call him to say it was ball to hand, but because he doesn't want to look like he was wrong, still gives the penalty!
we are always done by the refs, this aussie guy knows there are thousands of Japanese in Australia and in the back of his mind that will have been why he still gave the penalty....
this b*llshit ref decisions just keeps continuing and its obvious why...
having said all that i still think that 2001 thing was worse, with gohrain
buts its ok cos every since then and for the rest of eternity they have been and will continue to get DESTROYED by us as repayment.Darius Syrossian Artist page >

I vote the match vs Saudi Arabia as the worst defeat for many reasons:
1) It was a World Cup Qualifier at home in Azadi.
2) It was against our rivals who we are closer with in terms of region in Asia.
3) Ali Daei was too confident going into the match with starting freakin Ashjari.. No offense to Ashjari but really? You’re gonna put your trust in Ashjari to play against our rivals?
4) Going back to point 2, losing at home and in front of 100,000 something of our fans at home was not fun.

The arogh loss stung more given how we had to fight back with 10 players and twice come back from behind. This one was to a better team and by a larger score which didn't really leave any hypothetical scenarios of if only we had done this or that we wouldn't have lost. The arogh loss was close, this one wasn't.I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

We simply self destructed.
Lessons will be learned and hopefully in 4 years time we are still amongst it for another crack at the title although to be honest it’s only going to get tougher from here.
I think the loss to Iraq 4 years ago really didn’t leave us and we were mentally scared ever since. This scar, with the team we had and the positivities from the WC, will last many many many years to come. It’s going to be an emotional journey for players, officials and fans...ultimately I think a massively positive experience in Qatar 2022 will heal that pain..and maybe that still won’t be enough...time will tell...
Damn I love sports!
