Only bad thing is, that Almoez Ali scored and broke Daeis record yet (?)Right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must.

I don't know how that's applied (e.g. if a Qatari fan tweets a "Go Qatar" tweet in the stands, is that illegal? If a Qatari fan screams "Go Qatar" in the stands, is that illegal?"). The point is that the arbitrary nature of the UAE's legal system has had a chilling effect on Qatari fans' ability to support their team for fear of criminal punishment.
Although UAE does have strict laws against people who speak ill against rulers, government laws or the country’ culture and background. There is no dictatorship here and people are free to support whoever they want. Iranians have been driving around the country with Iran’s flag on their cars, or people waving the flags around.
Again, the article is from 2017, that does not imply anything whatsoever and does not support the initial statement of 15 years imprisonment.
I hope I’ve been clear.

You're surprisingly sensitive about any criticism of the UAE, I must say.Right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must.

I explained how it would cause concern to anyone who wishes to support the Qatari national team in person. The law is on the books.
A gross understatement.
It does not imply anything. It explicitly and expressly quotes the Emirati Attorney General confirming that a 15-year imprisonment term applies!

Use the link and tell me what you think. Here, I’ll help you read it “AFC Asian Cup 2019: UAE sports body buys all tickets to allegedly block Qatar fans from supporting their team in semifinal”. Sobhanallah, Qatari fans? Supporting Qatar? In a game against UAE? Surely it was a plan at first to let them in and imprison them for 15 years.
I mean, I’m really curious to how exactly are you trying to make a point in here? How do people like you think? And you want to win an irrational argument by pointing out I have a soft spot for this country?
I have nothing in my heart for Arabs and neither do I have anything against them, but advise from me to you (and to the other guy arguing the same thing earlier) it’s good to use your brain sometimes as a non biased person. Trust.
