I see some people here who are not really TM fans / stop your whining

Every team makes a mistake, remember Brazil in 98 or Germany in 18?This TM was (and still is) great for a very very long time with amazing numbers, makes a mistake in 55th minute in semi finals that costs them a lot, if something like this had happened in the first game then obviously they could have stayed in the tournament but not in semis.

More than us, they damaged their own dreams and hard work. Dejagah who surprised us so much, Beiranvand with his record and Sardar with his amazing skills against China, disappointed themselves but not the true TM fans. Probably Dejagah will retire now. Gone is his dream of taking TM to the finals and a possible gold. It cost him his dream but you and I lost maybe just the bragging rights, and maybe few dollars on beer, chips or pizza....NOTHING MORE.

You have a right to be disappointed but to not complain and whine. I am really tired of all the negativity I see here. Someone was mentioned we are weaker than Maldives? People like that are either you little emotional children or stupid, either way keep your negativity to yourselves. Jumping on the bandwagon the last second without knowing anything about the team, comments like that is an insult to the entire TM, fans and is not constructive. What TM needs right now is your support, ESPECIALLY AFTER THEY TOOK US TO THE SEMIS and even there performed very well for 55 minutes. This is a team to be very proud of! Where is Korea, China, Saudi Arabia and Australia????

Real TM fans don't behave like this...you can ask questions, among others my own (right or wrong) are; why was Dejagah pulled out? he seems to be the engine of the team. Why did we keep going with long ball for Sardar, was that the only plan we had? I understand few players lost their cool at 55th minute and were paying more attention to the referee than the goal (which I blame our previous experiences with the referees but in this instance I don't think the ref did anything wrong and even if he had let the captain handle it!), but what the game showed is that this team lacked a leadership in the field and an immature captain that chokes opponents (even in last few seconds) doesn't deserve the armband. Having only one attacker "nokeh hamleh" is not enough / was never enough and after Japan chocked him off we couldn't do anything.Emotional players have no room in the team no matter how talented, we are grateful to them, proud of them, but they need to show maturity now or be pulled out forever. TM cannot risk unnecessary cards. leave the communications with Refs to staff and to the Captain in the field. we can ask questions but we cannot whine and be negative.

If you can't take the heat get the hell out of the kitchen! We all need to cool off....I for one will post less until I have cooled off, please keep your negative comments to yourselves particularly on the social media that our players and heroes can see.

We know who the real fans are. We're the ones who browse and post on this forum even when TM doesn't play. We're the ones who follow this team with our heart even though we don't live in Iran anymore.

There are always some bandwagon fans who don't know the difference between Ali Daei, Al-Dayea and Ali Dia, yet they act like they've coached 3 World Cup winning teams, 2 days before an important game.

In the end, we are a great team which is by far one of the strongest teams in Asia, we can beat on a good day anybody in this world, but we have also to admit, that we are very limited, if we play offensive against good teams. Which means right now we can just neutralize the good teams, which is by far a great achievement, but the people think we have to outplay everybody, right now in an open match up we will have problems and we have to work on this. But TM is just end user of the whole football system of Iran, not the one who can really change the way how the mentality of the people is.

Dont let it get to you. Anyone talking shit is just a bandwagon fan or they are venting. It was a devastating loss for all of us, but the true fans are going to stick with team Melli through the ups and downs.

I only hope CQ and TM don't check iranian social media (twitter, instagram and facebook) because it is an essay on diseased Iranian psychology.

Teams like Brazil losing 7-1 to Germany is a very different fluke than Iran losing to Japan 3-0.

Brazil is an international powerhouse with silverware, and championship pedigree. However, Iran, under the guidance of CQ has been trying to rebuild itself since 2011.

In a way, the semifinal acted as a type of culmination of CQ's efforts and progress after 8 years. For a manager who touts the crucial importance of proper psychological preparation of players, the way team melli mentally self-destructed is unacceptable.

That being said, if we can't find anyone at least as good as CQ, I wish he'd stay.

This Japan game as a direct result of our boys lack of focus and NOT CQs tactical mistake!!! We play them again under CQ and I guarantee you we will prevail!!!! YES STOP the Whining!! We are a top team that had a very ( rare) bad day!!

treat the players like we would to our own friends, our own brothers, fathers. if my brother were a TM player I would support him no matter how many mistakes he makes on the field. he can go chasing after referees, he can make fatal mistakes on the field. but...the support is always there nonetheless. The players are human just like us - capable of equally having a bad and good day.
to those fans who are whining or thinking of not supporting TM, please do not make the same mistake I did - to not give enough support to a young Singapore actor throughout his acting career, only to see him pass away so suddenly. and the regret will forever be there cos I know I could have been more supportive (and whine less even if he did not act well).
please be always there for TM.

                      "Bitter color blinds"
Your post is an oxymoron. What is the relevancy of him being an Esteghlal fan (I notice you bring up Esteghlal a few times recently)....

I look forward to the day when both these colours disappear from iranian football.

They don’t have to. Because their own SM is infested by those lowlife disloyal fans whose pathetic agendas have impaired their vision and sanity.

Putting your club before your national team is a shameful bigoted act. We have a few of them here on PFDC and they well know whom I am referring to. Ye mooye patriotic Perspolis fan ro ba sar ta paaye those phony Perspolis fans avaz nemikonam. Also as a life long Perspolisi I would always take CQ over the weasel Branko any given day. Those who cannot swallow this, can drink a glass of iced water!
