I agree. We showed way too much respect to Japan and treated them as they are Spain. PLayers were too nervous.

Also you can see the confidence oozing in this Qatari side. They know they are building with solid foundations, with say of some of the best footballers and managers to have ever played the game, and a long-term plan. Those thing matters...it means that they don't see this as a once in a lifetime opportunity, but confident they'll be dining at the top shelf of AFC for years and maybe decades to come. Less stress
