How is it that this Qatar coach, Felix, gets a pointed as head coach of Qatar since 2017 and he transforms this team from “below average” to a “championship team” yet me have Carlos for 8 years and the best we can do is beat war torn country. I’m not for or against Carlos but what the actual f**k are we doing wrong. In the beginning, there was nothing. And God said: "Let there be light!" And there was still nothing, but you could see it.

It’s all to do with the fact that they are not scared of japan. All of our players post match interviews said “we were aiming to not concede a goal against japan” for f**k sakes when are we going to grow some balls and stop acting like underdogs with these teams. Khak too saremoon. In the beginning, there was nothing. And God said: "Let there be light!" And there was still nothing, but you could see it.

Also you can see the confidence oozing in this Qatari side. They know they are building with solid foundations, with say of some of the best footballers and managers to have ever played the game, and a long-term plan. Those thing matters...it means that they don't see this as a once in a lifetime opportunity, but confident they'll be dining at the top shelf of AFC for years and maybe decades to come. Less stress
