Their league sucks. This is all because of the Aspire Academy which has kept these same core of players together for more than a decade. They know each other as well as must club teammates do.

This statement doesnt make much sense. First of all how do you want to compare AC 1976 with AC2019?
So many things have changed since than. AC 1976 was smaller than this competition and not as competitive
as this one. Many Nations like KSA, Japan, Korea, China, Qatar has spent so much money into program's which help
them to develop their performance. Competitiveness also increase with the fact that football became these days more popular
than 1976. All in all in doesn't make much sense to compare the two competitions and draw conclusions about the performance
of Qatar.

They defeat KSA, Iraq, Korea, Japan and the hosts to become Asian Champions and concede only ONE Goal!

Man! Qatar beating Japan like that gives me the feeling that maybe South Korea could've won this tournament. South Korea hit the goal post and had one goal disallowed against Qatar, meaning that South Korea was capable of beating Qatar. South Korea dominated that game. I'm not saying that the disallowed goal was unfair. I'm just saying that South Korea was capable of winning against the team that became the champion.

And Iran could've beaten Japan, but to be honest, the Iranian players were too emotional. The champion could've either been South Korea or Iran.
