zenit hold on. Huge win. For all their technical deficiencies this team has a winning mentality and ability to come through in tight big matches. Obviously it is almost impossible for them to really go toe to toe with europes very best, but they are certainly the strongest team in russia, and they are close to being part of the best 16 teams in europe, a very impressive achievement indeed. Now they are 8 pts clear at the top of table, sardar may become a back to back league champ.

limited service as usual. HE had one header that the spartak cb clearly blocked with his hand but pk wasnt given. Besides that he hustled but really in big matches zenit has win at all costs game tactic, and this results in precious little service to their fwds.
