well im happy to see moharrami, gholizadeh, delfi, ezatolahi not included. None are 100% fit/match fit and its better not to risk injury and let them find form for their clubs first.

Yazdani is an interesting call up, for me the 4th CB spot is between him and Iman Salimi.

The bad callups here are amiri and shojaei.

Masoud, for all his talking in the media about issues in our society and whatever other shit he says, seems to not be of outstanding moral fiber himself. Oh me too. Just taking note of Wilmots choices. Torabi would be more than fine on the left against an aging HK defensive line(that isnt actually from Hong Kong). Not sure why ARJ is in the list either when he should be figuring his club situation out.

Not just that he is still playing for TM with his age, he never really been a constant force that TM could count on. In my humble opinion Masoud had maybe max. 10 good games for TM in his whole career, all other games were bad or average.

exactly. he was never a star player for TM. now he has found himself in some permanent honorary elder role in the team. he’s not at ali daei superstar level where only he can decide when to leave. just fk him off already.

I expect changes in due course. Hopefully this is just a start and younger players will be invited during PGL season.
Wilmots don't know players yet hence rely on Vahid and will not risk too many changes in the beginning. TM must improve and that will be very difficult with existing ageing players. Let's hope Ezatollahi improve and Asadi deliver at Tractorsazi ( he was good yesterday versus Perspolis ).

Saman has been suspended for four months by FIFA for failing to honour an agreement to join Huesca.
Cheshmi is still without club , hopefully he can be reconsidered.
Hashemian will monitor U23 team ( and players from B team) for possible future additions.
