To be honest, i am not sure if our staff, coaches and players are ready for this, as iraq people in streets are shouting and criticizing Iran. The atmosphere is gifted and against us, and we muste be prepared, that our hymne will once again be booed and a gifted atmosphere will be around the stadium, in the stadium and on the pitch.
IFF should try until last moment for neutral venue..

Even if game is not in Basrah it will move to Kurdish area Erbil.

Basra is a shia city, it is much better than Erbil(remember Zob ahan match) for us.

Zob Ahan match was in Karbala (a Shia city as well) and it didn't do us much good either. The problem is their anti-Iran component are very against Iran and motivated, they'll travel anywhere to hate on Iranians.

Yes, its true. MFA in Iran has advised Iranians from travelling to Iraq.

As for TM, we have no choice but to play in Iraq unless AFC changes their mind.

Erbil is much safer than Basra or even Baghdad or anywhere else in Iraq.
has been under full Kurdish government and security forces for the last 15 years.
