One of the top managers of IFF has been present in Isfahan and has held a meeting with Amir Qaleh Noi, one of the coaching Candidate for the TM.The outcome of the meeting is not yet known.

I guess all of them know they will likely fail and be fired in 2 month since it is nearly impossible to make it to WC or even to the second round. IFF doesnt support the coach, there is no money for preparation, there will be no support, only problems waiting.
Seriously i dont think anyone would love to coach Iran these days.

^ If true, this is absolutely ridiculous. After the Wilmots fiasco and Stramaccioni (Esteghlal) disaster and Calderon (Perspolis) debacle, without any proven channel of fund transfer (or availability of funds for that matter) IFF should learn to stick with an Iranian coach for now. Ali Daei is my pick.

Albania did fairly well under him. But two months left and no clear way of paying him?!!

My preference: Daei....GolMo, GN. I think GolMo is probably the best tactical coach out of the three, but Daei can garner more respect from the players.

I am not too familiar with him, but he can't be that bad that Albania kept him for as long as they did Nokhodi? Again, I ask genuinely as I just know he was with Albania at Euro 2016.
