Karim Bagheri has the purest, bravest and most humble/mature character of all the iranian football icons. He is the perfect role-model for our players.
yep that be ideal for us
Wiltit's expected debacle and the usual useless IFF taking their sweet ass time finding a replacement has costed us much needed preparations and planning time and such delay could well be the biggest blessing in disguise...for our committed but still internationally raw headcoach..!
ps
whatta blast from the past for me to hear Karim has been chosen to assist Dragan..!! loved almost everything about that classy legend..!! havent followed what he's been up to since the memorable retirement game vs Brazil..!
fantastic choice..!
wonder whats going on with Hashemian's situation...? did he decline ? is Karim to play Hashemian role or both are being sought after for shared assistant role..?

they want to keep vahid, vahid has different skills than bagheri, they actually complete each other
Not necessarily. The last 2 matches are crucial. If we play in June, we can at least have a camp for few weeks to gel the team. In November, it’s going to be a max 3 day camp.
Postponement of qualifiers is truly a gift for us right now. Gives Skocic ample time to set up friendlies and become acquainted with the squad before the stakes are raised.

First two games are give-me/friendlies for the last two anyhow...!
It’s great that Dragan is committed n all
But the dude is just a rookie coach @ core & needs time to bed in his preferred tactics & better plan his approach for the final two qualifiers which will really determine our faith in this early stage of WCQs.

We must enter to all matches with professional mindset like focus always on the next game, never underestimate any opponent, etc. We must go game by game.

The training camp is still likely to go ahead, despite the cancellation of the matches. So we should still expect a squad list to be announced in two weeks.
